Surya Kund - Gangotri - Uttarakhand

The location is just near to GMVN TRH Gangotri. It is such a beautiful place to see... and continuously gaze at the thunderous crystal clear water descending down from various glaciers. One can easily be mesmerized with a continuous flow of water striking the surround rocks making big sounds of water flow. Surya Kund has formed an almost big pit-like area formed due to erosion of stones and due to steep waterfall. The location is like one has reached in heaven.

Pandav Gufa - Gangotri - Uttarakhand

You will have to stay a minimum of 2 nights in Gangotri for acclimatizing yourself before going to Gomugh trekking. On day two you can visit the Pandava Guha in the cedar forest. Walk 3 KM along river Ganga. You will reach the cave somewhat opposite to the bus parking on the main road. It's not the rock cave that attracts you but the Baba living inside. A real yogi. My Yoga group from Germany had many things to ask him. His insight into the Indian philosophies opened my friend's eyes.
